We at zomecare manage patient effectively and arrange specialist and super specialist visit as and when necessary. Hence bringing wellness of patient and comfort to patient’s family members. This has been resulting in lesser hospital shifting of patient and lesser hospital admission expenses for patient.

We also have brought patient wellbeing by cutting down hospital follow up visit and thus reducing hospital-acquired infections.

EQUIPMENTS:

Zomecare has developed its own equipment system where we have given patient choice of either buying or to hire equipment on rental basis.

We have observed current nursing bureaus force patient to buy most of the equipments to earn selling margin. However we understand patient’s pain and offer all these equipments on rental basis and thus reducing patient’s expenses.

However if patient want to buy these equipments in view of long-term use these items are available for sale as well.

Patient has choice to select manual or electronic ICU Bed. Total Rent includes ICU Bed Rent. If Manual bed chosen, Total in rent item will be less by Rs 8000/-

We also provide home delivery of disposable items to patient to avoid discomfort to family members. Prices mentioned in following chart is APPROXIMATE COST and this may vary depending on availability of brand of product.

Below is the list of equipment needed for patient for duration of 15 days – 1 month. However quantity of disposable items of patient may vary depending on patients need.

Zomecare Provides Staff Nurse for stay duty at patient home. In addition we also provide support system to stay duty staff nurse in order to carry out patient management effectively, which ensures patients better managements.

· We don’t provide only staff nurse without support system of doctor and nursing supervisor to ensure safety and wellbeing of patient.

· Specialist Visit includes MD Medicine, General Surgeon, Orthopedician, Critical care specialist and Pulmonologist visit.

· Super specialist visit include Urologist, Spine specialist and Oncologist visit.

GOALS OF PATIENT MANAGEMENT:

1) To Make Patient Vitals Normal:

When a patient is discharged from the hospital, he/she is on tracheostomy tube, urine catheter, and Nasal tube. Patients get a fever, cough, less urine output. We manage this stage of disease where we focus on making urine output normal, decreasing sputum production and cough, to find out blood test levels and treat if any abnormality. To take care of if any new medical problem like Urinary tract or respiratory tract infection.

In this patient management, we take help of senior staff nurse preferably ICU in charge of some nearby hospital, Physician, Chest Physician, Urologist & Resident Doctors.

2) Cognitive & Behavioral Therapy:

At home in bed-ridden status, the patient became drowsy and depressed in a confined room set up. We at zomecare start interactive sessions with a patient to keep him involved in multiple activities. These sessions include playing games, making shapes of moldable clay, showing daily news channels to patient etc. These sessions keep patient and staff nurse busy and decrease boredom. This also helps to increase interaction between our staff and family members and patient. These sessions help patient regaining confidence and awareness of care given by hi/her family members to him/her.

3) Adaptation to Surroundings and Day Today Life:

Once a patient is better and clinically improved & interactive sessions started, we make patient come out of bed. A patient is taught to stand and walk if possible and if not then taking help of the wheelchair. Patients’ oxygen and other supports are tapered off slowly. With slow progression, a patient is made aware of surroundings and outer environment.

Our physiotherapist plays a major role in this stage of mobilization of a patient.
